Our first meeting of 2016 went with a real swing with lots of pictures from our members to sustain the entire evening and what an adventure it was.

We began with sets of prints from Tessa (Night-Light in Rain and ‘Winterville’) and Clive (‘Old Greenhouse’ series), an AV about the near deserted and run-down Jewish Quarter of Venice from James, followed by a wide range of images from, Bob, ‘Walk in the Rain’ (seaside shelter) series; Eric, Intentional Camera Movement selection; Henry, ‘Doors’ series, John H, experiments with ‘deconstruction-reconstruction’; Paul M, Harpa (Reykjavik) interpretation; Stewart presented various themes and interpretations in his inimitable style and Tessa looked at ‘the world through the bottom of a glass’! Selected examples are in our gallery below.

Everyone enjoyed the wide range of work and made excellent, constructive and insightful comments about the pictures. It was our usual warm, open and friendly atmosphere spiced with constructive critique and lively humour.
